5. Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms

We use cookies, pixels, local storage objects, log files, APIs, and other mechanisms to automatically collect browsing, activity, device, and similar information within our Services and to target advertising and content. We may also engage third-parties or service providers to do the same. Cookies. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your device’s hard drive through your web browser for record-keeping purposes. Pixel Tags. Pixel tags (sometime called web beacons or clear GIFs) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. Our Services are not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. We have implemented safeguards intended to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Please be aware that despite our efforts, no data security measures can guarantee security.

10. International Data Transfer

Your personal information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country in which you are a resident. These countries may have data protection laws that are different to the laws of your country. Specifically, our Site servers are located in the United States and our third party services providers and partners operate around the world but with our data stored in the United States. The Services are hosted and operated in the United States (“U.S.”) through Tiberius and its service providers, and if you do not reside in the U.S., laws in the U.S. may differ from the laws where you reside. By using the Services, you acknowledge that any personal information about you, regardless of whether provided by you or obtained from a third party, is being provided to Tiberius in the U.S. and will be hosted on U.S. servers, and you authorize Tiberius to transfer, store and process your information to and in the U.S., and possibly other countries.

11. User Generated Content

We may offer public-facing interactive features that allow you to create and publicly share information or content with others. Anything you submit or post to any such interactive features on the Services may be viewable and searchable by others. By using these features you acknowledge that you have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality in the content you submit, whether or not it contains personal information about you.

12. Additional Information for California Residents

Under California Civil Code section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine the Light” law, California residents who have provided personal information to a business with which they have established a business relationship for personal, family, or household purposes (“California Customers”) may request information about whether the business has disclosed personal information to any third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
